Olemme varanneet muutamia huoneita Karjalohjalta lauantaiksi, ja nuorisolle löytyy myös lattiatilaa/telttamajoitusta kesämökiltä. Ilmoittaisitteko sähköpostissa millaista majoitusta haluaisitte (kategoriat hotelli (Päiväkumpu Karjalohjalla)/mökin lattia/teltta) ja milloin saavutte (jo perjantaina/lauantaina) niin varmistamme yöpaikat kaikille vieraille. Ilmoitathan myös jos noudatat erikoisruokavaliota.

We have a number of rooms reserved for the wedding weekend. In the RSVP email, could you please let us know about your travel plans (dates, etc.) and we can try and assist you with making sleeping arrangements. Please also let us know if you have special dietary requirements or interesting allergies.
Vihkiminen tapahtuu Karjalohjan vanhassa kivikirkossa lauantaina 28.6.2008 klo 16.00, jonka jälkeen siirrymme mökillemme Puujärven rannalle syömään (ja ehkä myös saunomaan). Karjalohjalle on reilun tunnin ajomatka Helsingistä (ajo-ohjeet tältä sivulta myöhemmin). Karjalohjalle pääsee kätevästi myös bussilla.The main event is set to take place of the 28th of June, 2008 in Karjalohja, Finland at 4pm. Karjalohja is situated circa 55 miles from Helsinki and is easily reached by private and public transport (bus). Rental cars can be found from the usual places. Having a rental car while staying in Helsinki is not necessary as public transport is excellent and parking is difficult, confusing, and I won't do it for you.You can find some Helsinki tourist tips here, here and here

We are happy that you are coming to our wedding. If you brought a gift, that would just be too much of a good thing, like a fur coat on a naked lady. If you really would like to bring something (and you really don't have to), edible or explosive material are preferred. Or if you really want to disappoint us and bring something else, you can happily coördinate with Jo Conaway or JL Conaway, who are in tune with today's youth.
You can reach Finland by land (well, not really), sea, or air.
Air:
From the US of A, you can find flights from the usual places:
Kayak is one of my faves. Orbitz and cheap tickets can also yield some deals.
If you want to flounder about the old world before or after the wedding:
Air Berlin is a cheap way to get back to civilization, which flies from Helsinki to Dusseldorf. From Dusseldorf, you can get just about anywhere on the plane, train or otherwise.
Also occasionally viable is Ryanair, which is wont to "sell" free tickets. Stings attached include bus rides to and from remote airports. The remote airport in Finland is outside of Tampere, which will cost you about 2 hours and 20 euros (per head) to reach from Helsinki. This should be your last option.
Land:
Also an idea to kick around is seeing the old world via steam power. The Eurail ticket is a good deal if you would like to take the train around the continent. If you're traveling by rail, you'll probably need to get a boat to Finland...
Sea:
There are boats that run to Helsinki from Stockholm and Tallinn, among other places.
